Those clouds look filled and hungry!
I see an interesting picture in my mind, when I read this Haiku - As the night rider spreads his cape on daylight, darkness begines to flourish!!! :-)

I'm not sure I find flourishing darkness very comfortable, but then the image is quite threatening(!). I can see the spirit though, and the haiku captures it.
Night Rider beware!
Although the darkness flourishes, light is always more powerful than darkness.
